Its almost been a years from out last post you all must not be so happy.
Last year we visited PA for the first time camping we don't have many states under our camper but PA it was
we went to Pymatuning state park it was huge, as it says it has 21,122 acres, it is the largest state park in the Commonwealth. The 17,088-acre Pymatuning Reservoir is the largest lake in the Commonwealth. In its three campgrounds, Pymatuning has the most campsites in the Pa. state park system. More people visit Pymatuning than almost any other Pa. state park. They say you walk on the backs of the fish here.
We visited some vineyards and drove up to see Geneva on the lake which is in OH but right on the lake. it was very nice there we will go back there this year to try the state park there. www.ohiodnr.com/parks/gene...efault.aspx
This year we are planning to go through PA again and maybe hit a state park there then we will revisit Watkins Glen NY we went there about 14 years back to see a car race and have always wanted to return to camp. So we are don't have the details yet but I will fill you in later here is the glen you find it amazing there is a gorge there that is breathtaking the gorge path winds over and under waterfalls and through the spray of Cavern Cascade. Rim trails overlook the gorge. nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.asp
I just cant wait to plan this trip. Yes I am a happy camper... LOL camping is forced relaxation. Though we have a 30ft front kitchen slide out. We enjoy camping with own hotel room that you have only slept in. We do take hikes every day sit out in the out doors and enjoy the wild life. We also cook every dinner on the fire wood. there is nothing like a steak from a fire. MMmm Some day we will sit our little hotel room right next to the beach in the keys and sink our feet's in the sand for a few weeks. A room with a new view all the time.
